James 3: 1 - 12

James begins chapter 3 with a warning to the teachers. Teachers will be held accountable for how they use their speech to influence others. This leads James into a wider discussion about the tongue. He says, “no human being can tame the tongue.” But with God’s help we can learn to speak with wisdom and grace.
