Assemblies

Sunday

Bible Study - 9:30 am - We have Bible classes for all we have a Bible study for adults in the auditorium while the children have Bible classes tailored to their age.  We are blessed with many great teachers who help our children and adult members know the Lord and His eternal Plan. Our children's class curriculum focuses on presenting the Bible as one unified story leading to Christ.  Our adult class curriculum cycles through textual and topical studies to meet the needs of this local church.

Worship - 10:30 am - We meet in the auditorium to worship God together. During the worship assembly, we sign hymns, pray, take the Lord's Supper, read Scripture, members contribute financially to meet the physical needs of the work here, and preach from the Bible.  Our worship service is patterned after the examples we have in the New Testament (Acts 2:42).

Wednesday

Bible Study - 7:30 pm - We have Bible classes for adults and children of all ages.

We gather on the first day of the week for the purpose of worshiping God and encouraging one another. In our worship assembly on Sunday we are involved in singing, praying, preaching, making an offering, and eating the Lord’s Supper. These are joyful but solemn times when we can draw strength from each other while we praise the Lord. These gatherings are directed by biblical teaching and examples. By this approach we know that our worship is acceptable to God. We are not interested in entertaining nor drawing a crowd but honoring our Savior who died for us.

Our worship assemblies do not have complicated trappings or elaborate rituals. Believing there is no clergy/laity distinction but only roles and services for different members, various Christians will lead in the activities. The entire audience is invited to participate in the worship.

We conduct classes both on Sundays and Wednesdays for children and adults. Believing the scriptures contain all truth, these classes attempt to systematically lead students through the Bible. It is not merely an academic exercise. Teachers seek to explain the biblical text as well as show how it can help in daily living.

Read the following scriptures for the basis of our assemblies.

Hebrews 10:23-25

Acts 20:7

I Corinthians 11:17-34

Colossians 3:16
