Marks of Christ's Church - Lesson 4, Pergamum: Truth This Sunday, we continue our expository series through the seven letters in Revelation chapters 2-3. Along with love (Ephesus) and a willingness to suffer for Christ's sake (Smyrna), a local church should also be known for maintaining, defending and spreading the truth (Pergamum). God's people must be uncompromising in their convictions about Christ and intolerant of any teaching in the church that detracts from his preeminence and sufficiency.
