Revelation 1:1 - 8

What does Christ think about his church? Thankfully, we don't have to wonder because, in Revelation chapters 2 and 3, he tells us. John was given a vision which he was told to record and send to seven congregations in the Roman province of Asia Minor. Each of these groups received a letter from Jesus about their situation and emphasizes one distinct mark that should characterize a local church. This Sunday's lesson, taken from Revelation 1, will introduce our new expository sermon series through Revelation 2-3.
